Dust Free - Quality Timber Floor Finishes

At Ingrain Technique after extensive research we have found the most effective floor sanding machinery:

German “Lagler” Hummel sanding machine with an endless belt for continuous sanding.

German “Lagler” Flip edger is perfect for sanding difficult edges and stairs without leaving any imperfections together with a Rotex Orbital which are both coupled into a commercial dust extraction unit.

Australian “Polivac” rotary sander with interchangeable heads for a flatter sanded finish and polishing the grain of the timber.

All of the machinery at Ingrain Technique is serviced after each floor is completed, to ensure they are always running at optimum performance and all dust is cleaned out. 

Finishes

We offer a range of finishes, particularly environmentally friendly products.   We can create the look you like in Matt, Satin or Gloss:

Hard Wax Oil - gives the floor a dirt and water repellent surface. It creates a smooth, velvety luster.  It is suitable for floors that are exposed to normal or heavy wear and is easy to repair and maintain.

Hard Burnishing Oil - once cured, is hard, and water resistant. “Burnishing” refers to finishing oiled timber, using heat and friction.

Aboritec water based - has good durability and several different products that provide good resistance from normal to heavy wear and commonly used household cleaners and detergents.

Australian Polyurethane - provides a classic clear finish that offers a long life and requires low maintenance.

Tung Oil – is hard but flexible, waterproof and resistant to most food acids. The wood's natural beauty is enhanced over time.  It has been used since the 14th century by the Chinese and is acceptably safe for food preparation surfaces.
